There are many different ways that animals adapt to their environment to increase their survival rate. Some like the European Hedgehog makes a nest to keep warm and hibernates. Some like the Chameleon use chromatophores to communicate their moods and to camouflage from their predators. Others like the Humpback Whale migrate to breed in warmer waters while others like the Thorny Devil have structural adaptations to help them survive. Adaptations are very important to survival of many animals.
